Bluescore rules!! In 2001 the most impertinent italian rock'n'roll duo was born at the pussygarage in Bologna (North Italy). SHE at the guitar e HE on drums disembowel a primitive and minimal sound, out of rules and overpowering at the same time, such as the duo is calling in burning shows round Europe. The first record, the ep Absobloodylutely, on Suiteside Rec. (apr.2004), caught the international press attention so that their album Rebluesion (may 2005) was published on luxuroius vynil by Noisedeluxe Rec. in Germany and Austria. Almandinos toured Germany in may '05, and Spex, the most popular music german magazine, enclosed their lp toptrack in its compilation (over 20.000 copies). Well, the duo just toured Europe more times and is actually the only italian band invited at the international Ladyfests in Mannheim and Berlin (D) and has been sharing the stage with Electric Eel Shock (Jp), American Death Ray Music (Usa), Ex Models (Usa), Bob Log III (Usa), the Sixteens (Usa), the Dead Rocks (Bz), Jack Oblivian & knaughty Knights and on tour twice with The Hospitals (Usa) too. In Sept 2005 the usa music portal Church of Girl chose Rebluesion like the month's album. Blues soul and adrenalinic shocks, hyronic and destructured garage punk, let the band valued by international press like Pussy Galore's children. The bluescore duo recorded the new album Violent Potato with Jim Diamond (Dirtbombs) at Ghetto Recorders in Detroit (Usa).
Bluescore rules!!!! Era il 2001 quando il pussygarage a Bologna diede gli albori al bluescore duo almandino. She alla chitarra e healla batteria sviscerano un sound primitivo e minimale, fuori dalle regole e nel contempo travolgente tanto da richiamare il duo ad incessanti ed infuocati live in Italia ed all'estero. Absobloodylutely, l'ep d'esordio su Suiteside, 2004 , è stato registrato in presa diretta con la produzione di Fabio Magistrali, così come le tracce che vanno a integrarlo per l'album Rebluesion, edito Nel maggio 2005 - solo su lussuoso vinile! - in Germania e Austria da Noisedeluxe rec. e promosso con più tours nel nord Europa. Il popolare magazine musicale teutonico Spex, a maggio '05, ha pubblicato la top track dell' album sulla propria compilation (oltre 20.000 copie) Gli Almandino sono attualmente l'unica band italiana invitata ai LadyFests di Mannheim e Berlin (D) nonchè Ladyparties esteri ed ha già condiviso il palco con numerosi artisti internazionali, tra cui Electric Eel Shock (Jp), American death ray music (Usa), ex models (Usa), Bob log III (Usa), the sixteens (Usa), Jack Oblivian & Knaughty Knights e ben due tours italiani con i The Hospitals (Usa). Inoltre A settembre '05 il portale americano musicale Church of Girl ha scelto Rebluesion quale album del mese. Anima blues e scariche adrenaliniche, garage punk destrutturato ed ironico, fanno sì che la band sia considerata, dalla stampa specializzata internazionale, quale i Pussy Galore nostrani. Il nuovo album Violent potato è stato appena registrato da Jim Diamond (DirtBombs) al Ghetto Recorders di Detroit.
