Jasminshock
Playing together from spring '96 (named Youth Against Fascism), they immediatly works with indigena booking & records. In 97 are renamed as Jasminshock e recorded the demotape 3trks, first work with the sound engineer pippo Barresi. In November '98 Jsk record "Passing Complexion" , the first album. This cd has been reviewed very well form magazines and radio, and had several nominations as best debut record for year 2000. During 2002 tha band compose new songs, then in December they recorded the second album "2monkeys Fighting For a Banana" always with Pippo Barresi, 5° member of the band. 2monkeys has been released in April 2003, and then they are periodically on stage for their great live shows.
Insieme dalla primavera '96 (sotto il nome Youth Against Fascism) la band da subito collabora con Indigena Booking & Records. Nel '97 muta il nome della band Jasminshock e registra il demo 3trks (primo contatto con il fonico catanese Pippo Barresi. Nel Novembre '98 Jsk registra "Passing Complexion" , primo album. Il lavoro è stato accolto benissimo dalla stampa specializzata, ricevendo fra l'altro nominations come miglior disco di esordio 2000. Durante il 2002 la band si è focalizzata sui nuovi brani che nel Dicembre dello stesso anno sono stati registrati al The Cave di Catania, sempre dall'ormai consolidato 5° uomo Pippo Barresi. Il secondo album si chiama "2monkeys Fighting For a Banana" ed esce ad Aprile 2003, la band è peridodicamente impegnata a calcare i palchi in spettacolari live
